Pacific Beach, north of the pier (not the meeting spot)

Directions for all Friday events (in a more printer-friendly format)

    Morning: Pacific Beach
Ride starts at 9:00 am, so arrive by 8:30 to be ready!
    End time: 11:00 am

The beach ride will be a casual gathering. You are welcome to bring any unicycles from freestyles, trials, MUnis, and 36ers. There is a nice boardwalk for cruising around, some street and trials obstacles, and some great cliffs for riding down.
There's a large statue of a pelican behind the main life guard station, that's where we'll meet. You will have to arrive early to find free parking.

Some great, cheap food for breakfast and lunch is at Kono's Surf Club, 704 Garnet Avenue, Pacific Beach, CA 92109. It's a short ride from our meeting point. 858.483.1669
Prices range from $2 to $7.50, and the servings are large.

    Afternoon: Elfin Forest:
    Start time: 1:00 pm
    End time: 4:00 pm

Elfin Forest is a beautiful trail located in Escondido. The first person to photograph an elf mountain unicycling will get a special, surprise gift at Saturday's banquet, so bring your cameras! The trail has a great climb in the beginning, and then you get to have fun going back downhill. It is plenty rocky and technical, and it is an overall great trail. There are a few porta potties at the trailhead, but no water so be sure to fill up beforehand. We will have a table set up for late registration.

    Evening: Dinner at Miles' house:
    Start time: 6:00 pm
This will be a fun party. You are welcome to bring trials unicycles if you have them to play on my trials course, and there will be some great food. In addition we have big rocks to play on, and a quarter-pipe. For the musicians out there, you are more than welcome to bring your instruments. We have a grand piano and a set of drums. There is also a ping-pong table and a big TV for watching unicycling videos when you get tired.
